Why is there a gutter on both sides of the pavement in Fresia? So they can get walk without scraping their knuckles so bad. Why are Fresian’s arms so long? So they can feel the tits on a cow when they’re snogging them!
I was briefly fascinated by ‘chains’ at school, in the system of rods, links and chains. The idea of chains was you go around the outside of an irregular area and the number of chains related to the area in acres. 1 acre to 10 square chains?
So TIL. I have never heard of this, and I’m not sure if this happens in the U.K… I had always assumed, growing up with feet and inches and metres interchangeably, that area is always stated as the length of the side squared is how it is done. Has this happened as a mis-advertising tactic to make things sound bigger than they are?

Sovol sv08 is a voron based printer, not like a prusa at all. And not a bed slinger. And voron as a project, might be a self build from kits, but are better than what you’ve suggested in terms of listed as best of anything, in capability and in terms of open source.
That’s a stonechip, the impact mark is the little white dot slightly off centre of the patch of missing clearcoat. Then you can see the almost water mark streaks as moisture has crept under it from that mark, as the adhesion to the layer below is slowly destroyed with heat and cold cycles. Then either wind or washing the car has lifted it and it peeled off. Jetwashing the car is the biggest risk for these little defects.
It infuriates me that people still promote gone off/contaminated beer as a style of beer.
Sorry, being late for work is not an excuse for driving a vehicle in an unfit condition. Either you prepare the car to drive it, or you don’t start the journey.

I had ten years more WW3 is about to happen at any time than you did. We saw Northern Ireland become a peaceful place after such a long time like a war zone, the Middle East calmed down after always being a warzone somewhere or other. We watched the Berlin Wall come down in ’89 with such optimism, the USSR broke up peacefully and Europe started to be a more interesting place, now these borders with Russia are bloody dangerous. Somehow there’s a new and improved ‘Cold War’ that isn’t actually a secret at all, a real war hiding behind words like conflict, the holy lands are all to hell again, my god we are useless at this peace thing - the rich twats just can’t make enough money unless we’re all suffering obviously.
