Games@lemmy.world•[QUESTION] What is the most realistic-looking game that can also run on Linux distros?English
6·1 year agoI second Cyberpunk, ray tracing enabled or not. That game truly captures a realistic dystopian world in the best way possible.
Been using Krita for a long while, and I love it. Fantastic alternative to Photoshop and other art programs and image editors.

RetroGaming@lemmy.world•Which controller did you start with?English
1·2 years agoKeyboard and mouse, but when I started using computers I was so young that my hands were too small to hold the mouse properly, so I left clicked with my thumb up until three or four years ago when I got my first ergonomic mouse. Kinda funny how long habits can stay with you.

Linux@lemmy.ml•I finally switched back to Linux as my daily driver after a couple of years of being on nothing but Windows.
31·2 years agoI’m dualbooting as well, but only because a few games I play aren’t supported on Linux due to their anticheat. Namely Fortnite and Destiny 2. I’d completely switch if that wasn’t the case. Hopefully someday.

Someone doesn’t like 90’s Alt Rock.
I’m early Gen Z and I know this song lmao. It played here and there on the local alternative rock radio stations.

RetroGaming@lemmy.world•If you could play one game for the first time all over again, what would it be?English
17·2 years agoNot retro, but Celeste hands down. That game is an emotional roadtrip of a platformer. My favorite indie game out there.

Steam Deck@sopuli.xyz•[Discussion] New month, new games. What are you playing on your deck? - September 2023
1·2 years agoHi! I do have it fairly stable, but with a 30fps cap. I rarely see significant framedrops. Here are a bunch of screenshots with all of my settings, TDP included. Hope this helps!

I haven’t even seen the Netflix one, but as far as I can tell, it shouldn’t matter which version. I was just curious is all :)
