    Lol.

The last time I had genuine hope for mankind was back in thr 90’s.

I’ve expected nothing good ever since and still reality manages to outdo my most pessimistic scenarios daily.

The 90’s were full of hope, right up until the Y2K panic, then 911, and then it was all over, and we haven’t recovered since

Yeah, literally right below this post was a headline about the arctic crumbling.

I believe that a better world is possible, but I don’t believe it’s going to happen. Thinking otherwise just seems naive.

And taking action, even if it’s futile, seems better than just passively holding a delusional belief.

I’m all for positivity, but that hash “you can be unkillable”, hmmm, after a Global Pandemic that literally came out of nowhere, and rushed across the world, causing a reported 7 million deaths, mostly in the first two years, whose fatality numbers in places like China, Russia, North Korea, Africa, Southern Asia, The Middle East, and South America have been so severely underreported the Lancet is estimating it’s closer to 20 million. Just wiped off the board, gone, in the worst most painful ways imaginable, mostly due to poor and cowardly Governmental failures in service of financial economy, is almost insulting.
