I have enjoyed how we have pretty seamlessly transitioned to Kanon being the main character instead of Saki. It’s Kanon’s inner dialog we get these days while we just see Saki being her awesome self, while it was reversed at the start of the series.
Some nice attention to detail here as well. I really appreciate that the author is typically very careful about making sure that people that are having a conversation with Kanon are in her line of sight since she mostly reads lips. So, in these recent chapters, when she keeps averting her gaze from Saki, what’s a girl to do? Well, the answer is to stoop down and force Kanon to look at you:
We saw this again later in the chapter when Rinne wanted to make sure that Kanon listened to her. So Rinne leaned over the couch and shouted right at her face to make sure Kanon got the message.
