I love interacting with you all very much, and I know there’s a lot of important political issues in the world going on right now. I love my Linux Mint setup, I support Palestine and trans people, and I’ve blazed through all of OG Star Trek, TNG, Voyager, and am now on DS9.

But I also want to discuss Luka to the Lakers and Kendrick calling Drake a pedophile and getting 5 Grammy’s, a tour, and a Superbowl halftime show out of it, you know? I wanna talk about your country’s Eurovision entries. Am I just not in the right communities?

Ngl, Mastodon is closer to feeling like Lemmy than Twitter. I know it’s heresy to say here, but Bluesky is probably the closest feeling to old Twitter, including the random 3am hole pics on “What’s Hot” lol. I scroll there, but I don’t post bc I find talking on Lemmy a nicer experience tbh.

I also find it interesting that you find IG Reels a better algo for you than Tiktok, because most people say their Reels algo is a MESS. You must have curated your follows and likes pretty well.

Yeah I unfollow ppl if they like stuff I dont like since it taints the algorithim, for the most part I get a suprisingly decent feed on my official real person account, and a really good one for my 3d visuals account.
I like seeing other ppls likes, my whole twitter feed used to be some of my friends likes that ithe algorithim realized I enjoyed (itd show who liked it when showing you the post) my feed went to shit after they turned that off.
