David Hogg is funding primary challenges to Democratic incumbents who refuse to obstruct Trump’s fascist takeover.
AOC and Bernie Sanders are doing their Fight Oligarchy tour around the nation to raise support for progressive candidates.
Progressives all over the US like Kat Abughazaleh and Zohran Mamdani are running for local offices.
The Congressional Progressive Caucus are the only ones consistently voting against Trump’s and the Republicans’ cabinet appointees and blatantly unconstitutional bills.
AOC is regularly hosting virtual events to inform her constituents of their constitutional rights, something for which she is receiving threats of prosecution from the Trump admin.
These are just the things I could think of off the top of my head, and while all this is happening establishment dems like Chuck Schumer and James Carville are actively fighting against the progressives instead of fighting fascism. If it seems like not much is getting done it’s because the neoliberal ghouls that have embedded themselves in DNC leadership positions are doing everything they can to force the entire party to “play dead.”
You keep making excuses for the small amount progressives have done while MAGA has taken over the GOP and used that to take over the House, the Senate, the SCOTUS and the presidency in the same time frame?
They’re making the moves and it’s really showing how much of a joke the progressive movement is.

The reason MAGA was able to take over the GOP so easily while the progressives have struggled to take over the DNC is because MAGA had (and still has) the backing of several large donors and owners of mainstream media. The entire mainstream media apparatus has been outright hostile to progressives until very recently, and even now they are reluctant to give full support.
The fact is that Progressives have a much harder fight than fascists because our ideas represent a tangible threat to the wealth and privilege of those in power while fascists’ ideas only threaten the powerless (at least at first, many of these wealthy people who are complicit in the rise of fascism will find themselves against the wall too eventually, but they are shortsighted).
You’re sure these are progressives? The group that have been trying to get their ideas enacted into law? Ideas like public education, healthcare, and liberty?
