The list of subreddits I really miss is actually pretty short, but one of them for sure is ThatsABooklight. Not the most active sub, but you could lose most of a weekend scrolling through all the weird stuff that got dressed up as a movie prop.
On mobile you have to remind it that you don’t want to use the fucking app, and also that you don’t want to fucking log in with your Google account, and yes really I don’t want to use the fucking app, and no I don’t want you to use cookies, and no I don’t care if the app experience is better and also no, thank you, I don’t want to log in

I loved dumb small subs. It’s really a shame they can’t really exist on Lemmy, at least not yet. I miss MisleadingPuddles
Why not just browse them while not logged in and with adblock?

Replace “www” with “old”, it takes you to the old version, that they haven’t bothered updating to mess with you.
I still minimise my time on Reddit however, out of principle.
Oh yeah, on mobile I totally get it.
Old.reddit still exists
Because it’s the principle of the thing!
I recall this being a favorite:
I’d definitely subscribe if you were to create that community here.
