I’ve noticed the comment section in this community tends to attract the most utterly humorless douchebags in the fediverse and they’ve got a weird compulsive need to let everyone know when they don’t find a tweet funny.
Microblogging humor/best of social media has always ranged from “smile and move on” to “mild chuckle” level quips. Calm down there, Roger Ebert.
What I find odd is how people feel the need to comment on things they dislike.
Like sure I’ll comment on something I don’t agree with, but as for likes and dislikes then I’ll just walk on by. Like I don’t like anime, not that I dislike it, just it’s not my thing. But I don’t need to comment on all the anime posts I see saying this is dumb as people might find some of things I enjoy dumb

Aren’t you commenting on something you dislike literally right now?
I wouldn’t say so, I’d say in commenting with curiosity as to why people do do that and my own observations.
I could be wrong though.
