I’ve been experimenting with different flame loadouts and have found that bringing extra stun grenades helps a ton. You can just casually stroll up to behemoths and melt them.
But then you can’t carry incendiary impact grenades! :)
True. If only there was another way to stun them

Ask another helldiver to bring stun grenades. Fire helldiver + stun helldiver = dream team
