Finally managed to catch up on this season today, so there will be a bit of stuff that happened in the previous episodes in my post.
First off, I feel like this season is like a whole new show since there is a whole new cast of characters and intrigue around an organization that was never mentioned in the first season (that I remember) called FUG. I really miss the old cast of characters, so I hope that we see them soon. We got some downtime to meet the new cast of characters this episode, and I am starting to buy in to this group, but hopefully we narrow down the cast a bit after this game wraps up.
One thing that hasn’t changed about this show in season 2 though, are the convoluted games and tests they do. As they were going through and explaining all the rules around rulers/rooms/defenders/controllers/etc., I couldn’t help but agree with Love that it would just be a lot simpler if he just fought Bam. Instead we have this game about teambuilding and capturing rooms, while we simultaneously have this other game about playing catch with Bam’s controller with Love. I couldn’t tell you what this is all meant to test, but here we are.
I suspect that the team that is building around Wangnan will end up winning this game and join with Bam going forward, but they will have to clear this other team out of the way first.
Episode 3 adapted manhwa Season 2 Ch.10 to Ch.15
Today episode is the weakest of first three episodes. Animation direction is off and rushing characters interaction made this episode way worse.
I didn’t think it was a bad episode.
The whole sequence of the room occupants organizing in the manhwa is drawn out and a bit boring.
Compressing it in order to get it over with quickly while touching on the key points was a good adaptation decision IMO.

I won’t say it is bad but the weakest of the first three episodes. What I don’t like in this episode is mainly animation. And about compressing character interactions, cutting previous episode bath scene makes it feel Akraptor acted out of his character in this episode. I enjoyed this episode but not as much as first two episodes. Really wish they went with more slice-of-life episode route and ended with sudden test announcement.
