We had the Lightnovel Awards for the best LN of the year. This time lets discuss which were the worst.

(META: Myne’s still under the weather and didn’t take the move to Alexandria (literally the name of the new VM) too well so I had to fill in. I hope she’ll get her shit together until next week or I’m going to ask for a pay raise.) She just posted an hour later because of the timezone difference between Alexandria and Ehrenfest. It makes sense and I was just impatient.

The Invincible Little Lady still holds for me the title of the worst novel ever read. This is the only novel in recent memory where I got angry so much that I began to fantasize with “what if…?”. And now the MC lives happily ever after in post-apocalypse world.

But it wasn’t the MC was it?

It was the old headmaster who was creeping on young girls. Why does the MC get punished for him!

I’m sure Ferdinand will make a potion to fix that.

The series I dropped the hardest was “The Trials of Chiyodaku, Vol. 1: Running the Supreme Court of Another World With My Sister”, by chapter two I was so annoyed by literally everything that I deleted the volume from my library just so I don’t stumble upon it by chance.

I was just looking at 2024 books. It’s been half a decade since I’ve read MT. But yeah, you’re right. If I had to pick my all time hate novel it would be MT. Over the years I literally spent more time discussion why I hate it than I spent reading it.
