“An” makes sense if you’re pronouncing it as an initialism (“el oh tee are”) which is probably how most people pronounce it.

My wife thought it was a good idea to watch Rings of Power instead that one time. It was funny as shit. We have Lord of the Rings at home.
The wife and I are planning thanksgiving this year around the marathon and the food is all themed. No turkey … Thanksgiving of the rings. I’m so ready.
Yeah, I can barely wait for christmas. I do the marathon every year on the 25., Star Wars (OT) on 26.
I usually wait for December but I might rush it and watch in November instead. We split it into 40-60 minutes episodes and watch it over weeks.
My wife suggested it recently, but we watched it already this year so we planned it for the Christmas break, when we always watch it anyway. I wouldn’t mind if we could skip the hobbit trilogy, but she likes it, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ .
