    Nothing actually happened to take Tachiyomi down. They only got legal threats, which even if they had been warranted, would have cost money that the project doesn’t have, to fight.

      Yeah that’s true but it was still easy for Kakao to find their personal details that allowed for those threats. I’m not saying Kakao actually sued them but keeping their IRL identity hidden would help in avoiding such a situation in the future imo.
