Oh this is so exciting! My partner has vision impairment issues and audiobooks are the bulk of her reading as a result. Maybe with this production she can join me in my love of this bibliofantasy!! She enjoyed the anime so it’s worth a shot!!

I just hope it’s an actual audiobook. And not a “Audio play” like with sound effects and bullshit like that. Just give the voice actress the book and record her reading it. That’s all it needs. I don’t need to be told how a door, or footsteps sound like. Just let her read a uncut version of the book.

I like “Audio Plays” but they are super hard to find because English has no word for them. Sometimes they are labeled as podcasts. I can’t focus when reading an audio book but an “Audio play” somehow immerses me enough to focus on the story. “Audio plays” also need to be written differently. They need to be written like drama plays and not like epic literature.
So I looked it up and in English it’s actually called “radio play”, so try looking for that.
