    Backups are planned (in 1-2 years I guess), for now the data should be good as the server drive is brand new.

      What if I or you accidentally delete something like yesterday. We should have at least one back up.

        Good point, having at least one (daily) backup would reduce that risk. For now though it’ll have to be on the same disk so not as good as I’d like it

          Update: lemmy kindly provides a backup script in their documentation, I’ll just have to tweak it and set up a backup folder/server to store it on (the last part will help move the backups to a separate device once I…

          I’ll type this down live: I have a separate devoce I can use for backups, it’s just in a drawer…

          I’ll set up backups properly (different device and drive) on the weekend, until then it’s DB digging if we encounter any issues
