I don’t particularly care for Immanuel’s part, just more insight into how truly rotten the usurpers are in their ways I suppose.
Anastasius’ chapter however is a very welcome continuation to his character progression imo. I much like him connecting the dots between Ferdinand calling him to the Academy and Rozemyne’s prayers there immediately but more than that I like the wall he is running into. The man is faced with the abject truth that despite being a royal in name he is not one in function. Would have liked for his PoV to continue on a bit longer but I suppose we can’t have his reaction to meeting Rozemyne infused with Mestionora’s Mana when we haven’t even gotten to that point from her perspective.
I was hoping it would be a bit longer, so we could see Ferdinand dealing with him when retrieving the medals.
There are still 2 more releases, so I guess around 4 more side story chapters. Maybe we’ll get a Ferdinand POV chapter, that’ll show this. I wouldn’t mind a Gervasio POV chapter, to see what’s going on in his head.

We now know how Hildebrand got tricked by Roublut. Immanuel could never achieve his dream to own Rozemyne as high bishop. The chaos gremlin need to stir the thread of time with goddess of chaos.
There are some hints about the past plots that erhenfest was blamed for again and again.
Anastasius can’t compete with zent candidates and actuall Avatar of Mestionora. I think this is his firs taste that someone is truly above him.
I am surprised. I expected Immanuel was pressuring Rozemyne entirely for personal gain, but it seems like he genuinely believes that getting Rozemyne into the temple is for the best of the country and will please the gods. Of course there is the selfish angle of raising the priesthood above the nobles, but at least part of his motives aren’t entirely selfish.
